It is like a weekend retreat packed into one evening with National Speakers, Authors, Comedians, and Worship. We hope you can join us!

Friday, September 27th 7:00pm

Featuring:

Author & Speaker Melissa Spoelstra
Melissa is madly in love with Jesus and addicted to the study of His word. She is passionate about knowing and inspiring other women to seek Him by opening their ears to listen to His Spirit, reading His Word curiously, asking questions and clinging tightly to God through the storms of life. As a wife to Sean, and mother of four great kids, she works out her faith on a daily basis always in need of God’s Word to draw her back to the things of first importance.

Comedian Kristen Weber
Kristin is a comedian, speaker, and author. Her clean, sharp, and occasionally alternative approach to comedy has brought her all across the United States and Canada, where she has performed at conferences, churches, in popular clubs, on cruise ships and more.
She has worked with comics such as Tim Hawkins, Michael Jr., and Ken Davis, and has headlined numerous events, including The Circuit, a week-long comedy tour in Toronto, Canada. She also speaks at youth conferences and camps all over the country.
Kristin has written two books for teen girls, The Smart Girl’s Guide to God, Guys, and the Galaxy and The Smart Girl’s Guide to Mean Girls, Manicures, and God’s Amazing Plan for Me, published by Barbour Books in 2014 and 2016. She has written for Sisterhood Magazine (formerly Brio Mag from Focus on the Family), as well as contributed to popular blogs like The Gospel Coalition and Stuff Christians Like. She is currently working on her third book and contributes frequently to a variety of blogs and online magazines.

Worship Leader Mia Koehne
As a singer/songwriter and worship leader, Mia’s soulful music reflects the painful beauty of human struggles and a passion to worship the God who saves. Her life is a compelling story of sin, surrender, sanctification and song. Living as a testimony to God’s grace and His forgiveness, she is inspired to share that message of hope with others through music as a recording artist, a writer and a speaker. Mia is the wife of Bob and the mother of three children, Chris, Aaron and Miriam.

This is an evening women can enjoy right from the comfort of Little Rock. Perhaps you have been to a Women of Faith event or some other big name women’s event – this is very similar, except right here!

I’m super excited about the opportunity St. James has to reach out to our community and invite women to come for an evening of fun. This is a great non-invasive evangelism tool for women to use to invite other women to come to a church for a non-churchy event.

Tell your friends and put this date on your calendar. You can purchase tickets online or from me. They are $25 for general admission, $35 for VIP – which allows you early access and Q-n-A with all the speakers and artists.
