Youth Worship Team
Come grow in faith and skill with this fantastic group. Basic understanding of your instrument is required. Contact Rev. Greg Schick at: or 217-6706.

All choirs lead in worship on a regular basis. Our older elementary children present an annual musical each spring and all choirs share their music during seasonal concerts.

Acolytes – St. James has a rich heritage of acolyte service for students in 5th grade through high school.  Our 8:30 and 10:55 a.m. traditional, and our 10:55 a.m. contemporary services all provide opportunities for our acolytes to serve.
Altar Guild – Members of the Altar Guild help prepare the worship space in both the traditional and contemporary services and for special worship services, including decorating the Sanctuary and Worship Center for Advent, Easter and other celebrations.
Communion Servers & Stewards – St. James offers communion during the worship services on the first weekend of every month, while our 8:30 a.m. traditional service offers communion every week.  Servers assist our pastors during the communion celebration on a rotational basis. Stewards assist in cleaning up communion following the 10:55 a.m. worship service on a rotational basis.
Joining an usher team is a great entry point for new members to serve, as it provides a wonderful way to meet more people in the church.
