Ministry for all.
For we are God’s masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which He prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them ~ Ephesians 2:10
We affirm the image of God in every child and adult with special needs, and our desire is to love and serve them as we help usher them and their families into a thriving relationship with Christ through worship, Sunday School, and monthly respite care.
Our mission is to provide a culture of belonging, dignity and purpose to everyone who has cognitive, behavioral or developmental challenges. Our ministry strives to deliver teaching methods that are designed for children, youth and adults of all abilities. We identify resources and opportunities that intentionally integrate people and families into the ministry of the church.

Christian Life Center
(across the street from main campus) Led by Youth Director Chris Johnson Friday Night Live is an awesome ministry to area middle and high school students! We are so proud of our youth facility/gym and we want to open the doors for students that want a fun, safe place to hang out. Essentially, this program is an "open gym" with not a lot of set schedule for the night. There will be board games, bingo, pizza, karaoke, and other games available to play. |
The Buddy Program allows a child with special needs to be assisted by an adult or teen in a typical Sunday School classroom. The buddy will assist the child in activities in the classroom, getting around, interacting with their peers, and any other needs they may have. Buddies allow a child with special needs to get the experience of a typical Sunday School classroom by assisting them so they are comfortable and have everything they could need.
To receive a buddy, go to: Receive a Buddy To be a buddy to a child, go to: Be A Buddy Please fill out the appropriate form and bring it back to St. James or email it to sean@stjameslr.org |
