Each week we are posting events (game nights, devotions, lunch hangouts) and helpful resources for your teenagers on Facebook and Instagram.
Sunday School Classes: We are meeting via Zoom for Sunday School: 10:15 via Zoom - code is 439-430-618. Beginning September 13 we will have two Zoom classes (Middle and High School).
Beginning September 27, in-person Sunday School returns, time is TBD.
Middle School will meet in the Big Room using the Youth Entrance
High School will meet in the Commons using the Front Gym Doors
Wednesday Night Live: Will resume in-person on September 23 from 6:10-6:45 in the Christian Life Center (across the street from the church).
Sunday Night Youth: We will not set a date for Sunday Night Youth to resume until:
ARUMC guidelines will be followed. All students must agree to follow standards and will be dismissed if guidelines aren't followed.
Those standards are as follows...
-Masks or face coverings must be worn the entire time.
-Students must check in, have temperature checked, and answer health questions upon arrival. This can be done by scanning the posted QR code with their phone.
-Chairs in the Big Room will be set up at the appropriate distance and should not be moved.
-Students must immediately exit the building upon dismissal.

Welcome to Youth Ministries
For students in 6th-12th grade, our middle and high school ministries offer strategically focused Bible studies and events to meet students where they are and spur them on to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ. We are committed to loving and serving youth and their families as they navigate the teen years and explore their faith in Christ.

Each Sunday at 9:30 AM Gathering in the Big Room, Christian Life Center (Students are divided into classes by grade.) During the Sunday School hour, youth participants enjoy a relaxed environment for organized study, fellowship, and discussion.
wednesday night small groups
Each Wednesday of the school year 7:00-8:00 PM, Big Room, Christian Life Center Wednesday Nights are interactive student experiences designed to help students recognize Christ’s presence in their daily routines. Each Wednesday there is a small group for boys and girls. These discussions are facilitated by adults and use scripture to help students navigate relevant issues.

Each Sunday during the school year 5:00-7:00 PM, Youth Area of the Christian Life Center Sunday nights at St. James are awesome! We start the evening off with worship led by our youth worship team. Following worship Chris leads the group through games and life lessons. The evening concludes with dinner.

Friday Nights—Check the schedule 6:00-10:00 PM, Christian Life Center
Where can students go on a Friday Night that is safe, fun, and inexpensive? St. James Friday Night Live is open to all youth. Basketball, pool, hanging out, foosball, karaoke, and more is available. The only cost is for concessions.
sos - serving on saturdays
Saturday’s—check the calendar for specific dates/times
One Saturday a month, students will meet at the church and then go into the community to serve. Activities will vary from month to month but examples of serving opportunities include: feeding the homeless, visiting nursing homes, doing yard work for shut-ins, etc.

Sundays; 4:00 PM Big Room of the Christian Life Center
The Youth Worship team meets weekly to plan and practice worship services for the week. This is a youth led group. Singers and individuals who play instruments are welcome to participate.
